Igor Carvalho is a Brazilian photographer whose love for the arts began at an early age, nurtured by an artistic family with varied backgrounds. His passion for the arts sedimented when he studied Theater at the Federal University of Paraíba in Brazil, where he learned the art of storytelling and the importance of capturing emotion.


After completing his degree, Igor moved to the United States to continue his artistic training. He enrolled in the International Center of Photography, where he honed his technical skills and developed his unique style. It was during this time that Igor discovered his love for both black and white and color photography.


To further his knowledge and skills, Igor studied at the New York Film Academy, where he learned about the technical aspects of photography, including lighting, composition, and post-processing.


With his background in theater and his training in photography, Igor's work is a beautiful blend of storytelling and visual art. His black and white images are hauntingly beautiful, capturing the essence of a moment and evoking emotion in the viewer, while his color images are vibrant and alive, showcasing the beauty of the world around us.
